Here’s how to Serve!
This dish can be served with various sides. You can serve it with plain steamed rice, pulao, or roti. A side salad can also be served with this dish to complete the meal.
For Garnishing:
- You can use some mint leaves for topping as demonstrated in the video.
- Pro tip: You can also put some raita on top of your biryani plate! It will dramatically give a cooling down or toned down spices taste while even enhancing the overall flavours of biryani.
- We almost forgot! Salad wonderfully complements biryani. You can either garnish your biryani with it or you can eat it as a side dish. Both work fantastically!
Tips:
- To start with, using a heavy-bottomed pan is very important in preparing a chicken biryani recipe as you do not want the chicken to get overcooked.
- In restaurant-style chicken biryani, the whole chicken is used in the preparation, while the breast can dry when cooked at home. It’s always recommended to use chicken thighs…
- Do not remove the bones from your chicken when making biryani for a juicier result.
- In case your cooked rice has turned sticky, spread it on a plate and let it sit for five minutes. In a short time, the rice will be fluffy and separate.
- The best flavor comes from freshly ground spices, so take the time to dry roast all the whole spices for a good 2-3 minutes, then pound or grind them.
